The rooms were so comfortable, and the views out to the ostriches, buck and zebra every morning were unbeatable. We sat in the jacuzzi while it rained outside (it is covered) which was so special. The hosts were SO accommodating and kind, which we really appreciated. We have already booked our return trip.

The best 2 days ever! Such amazing facilities and got to see 4 out of the big 5 on the safari. Very well run resort and very efficient with plenty of time for to do the safari as well as chill by the pool and spa. Food was an all you can eat buffet which was so tasty and great variation and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful! Would recommend Aquila to anyone

A hidden gem 🌸 We enjoyed every second of our 3-days stay - Happiness, the staff, the owner & her cute son did their utmost ❤️ The breakfast was delicious, Dinner as well. The Tranquility, coziness, location, hospitality all on a high level. Our twin girls enjoyed to play in the garden, Playground, pool and with the animals (cat, turtle), Billard. You can also book animal spotting for Zebras, antilopes, ostrich- Thank you Brian! Perfect Location as well if you Want to Go (just 20min Drive) to Aquila (which is way too expensive). Wishing you and your Familien all the best!!

The Lodge was ideally situated for our visit to the Aquila Game Park. The staff were delightful, kind, polite and helpful. The Lodge has a swimming pool. It also has secure car parking. Our room and bathroom were attractive, very clean and comfortable with air conditioning. Tea, coffee, milk and a kettle in the room.

With original buildings dating back to 1756, the Karoo 1 Hotel is a restructured farm located in Touwsrivier. It offers elegant rooms and features a swimming pool and a restaurant.

Close to Aquila - unfortunately not really near anything else so not sure how you’d stumble on this place if you’re not day tripping there but it was quiet and enjoyable. There’s a nice pool area, good restaurants on site for dinner and breakfast, helpful staff, small shop for supplies. Room is comfy with AC etc.

We absolutely loved the natural rock pool. Our tent which was the closest to that pool was in a lovely quiet position. I’d recommend staying in tents closer to the rock pools because the tents next to and above the actual farm/wedding venue are not that private.
