From the moment we arrived until we left we were treated like family royalty. Our room had a view of the ocean which we loved to listen as the waves crashed to shore. The room was comfortable. Our morning breakfasts were perfection. Our hosts were outstanding. As a true bonus we received laundry service which was timely as we had been on the road for almost 3 weeks. We highly recommend and hope someday we can return again all the way from Canada

If you're a Korean, you'll be satisfied with the accommodation. We're a bit picky. ^^ This accommodation is operated by someone who understands what travelers need about cleanliness and safety. The view from the room was good, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the lighting and table were convenient. I hesitated because I felt like the location was ambiguous, but I'm not at all! If you're looking for an accommodation to relax in, here's the place!

Excellent Hotel with an Exceptional Hostess I stayed for one night at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The cleanliness and comfort of the room were impeccable. The room was spacious and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a large balcony. The common areas are also spacious and tastefully decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy. The breakfast is complete and delicious, offering a wide variety of options. But without a doubt, the highlight of this hotel is its hostess, Rahelah. She is a lovely person, super friendly and attentive, ensuring that you lack for nothing and making you feel right at home. She truly is a gem. The hotel is well-located and easily accessible, with good parking available. I highly recommend it 100% if you're looking for a pleasant stay on the coast. We had an amazing stay, the room is beautiful and has everything that you need! We stayed only for 1 night but we would love to have stayed longer. We also had breakfast and it was very good. Owners are super friendly and welcoming. They also gave us a list with recommendations for restaurants, we really appreciated that.     Breakfast buffet and beaches were lovely. The arniston cave is a beauty and must see. It is a bit scary going to the cave. We did not have time to walk around in the neighbourhood but the place seemed quiet and safe. We visited Cape Agulhas and there were more restaurants nad food options. Arniston does not have a variety of lunch and supper options for our pallet. The spa at Arniston is also great. The lamb shank is delicious at Arniston. I would have like a bigger variety with the pizza options. I would advise people to visit the beaches, go to the smaller towns in the area to get to know the peolple better.

    A charming little village with friendly people.

    A charming little village with friendly people. Lovely to walk around and explore, with stunning views around every corner... Our spa experience was very good, so much so that we went back for a second treatment. Bredasdorp was an eye opener - if you enjoy history you must visit the Shipwreck Museum and Bredasdorp Square has a lovely restaurant and courtyard with delicious food on offer, plus a gift shop you could get lost in (not to mention bankrupt yourself)! The drive to De Mond nature reserve was well worth it (the dirt road is in good condition) and it is wild and remote with few people to be seen. It's also worth visiting Cape Agulhas to see the lighthouse and walk on the boardwalk. The nearby Struisbaai beaches are gorgeous.

    Loved everything but the dog owners need to pick up after their dogs. One woman even told my husband she will come back and pick it up. Never saw her again. That was on the grass in front of our cottage.

    Best thing about Arniston is the natural,beauty and although it has grown in the thirty year since I was lat there and much sand has gone for the beach it remains peaceful and unspoilt Not sure it would be much fun in bad weather as not a lot to do and the it must be a pain for residents 5hat if short of milk or another essential you would have to,go to Bredasdort twenty mins away. You are relainat on the hotel and although it’s great to stay there the restaurant and bistro are not exciting. The only other food appears to be in a shack in the old fishing village nearby which was excellent,cheap and unpretentious.

    The trip to Kassiesbaai with history forever caught in the ambiance. Willeens's ice cold beer and the Kassiesbaai bag bought at the gift shop. The small harbor/jetty with the local fishermen doing the everyday tasks.

    The mere fact that we have been back to the Arniston hotel...

    The mere fact that we have been back to the Arniston hotel at least 4 times in the past few years should be an indication of the excellence offered. The facilities are just right, the view from our room was magnificent and the room itself was very spacious and comfortable. We cannot fault the food and the service was very good. Arniston has always been our place to recharge our batteries.

    Stunning location with awesome sea views, friendly reception and hotel staff, 2 restaurants (one with bar open to the public as well) and one reserved for residents only. Great menu with excellent food options. We took our bicycles and enjoyed cycling in and around the village. This time we skipped the spa, but enjoyed a lovely massage on a previous occasion. Quaint village, steeped in history. Most pleasant 2 night stay en route to the Garden Route

    The location of the property is excellent, in Kassiesbaai which is a heritage area, with a view of the sea and within walking distance of the little harbour and the Arniston Hotel. I liked it that I stayed in one of the traditional fisherman's cottages and that the house is lovely and spacious and the bed I slept in was very very comfortable and the bedding was clean.

    All was very good for a relaxed and quiet vacation with friends. We had four cottages all next to each other, which lent itself to perfectly for our get together. The Arniston Hotel is in short walking distance where we enjoyed a few excellent meals
