I wish my room had a bathtub. That was really the only complaint. The room was advertised as "watering hole view" but it was really off to the side (room 46). Amazing though, I only stayed one night. I woke up to see the sunrise and saw families of pumbas, monkeys, etc. Magical!!!

The hotel manger Vimbai and her staff were so attentive. When we told them we didn’t need rooms to be cleaned on some days, they made it a point to ask if they can give us water n clean towels when we come back from our daytime activities. The hotel is very new so it is clean and modern. My husband said their bed and pillows are the best we’ve slept on in hotels! The buffet breakfast spread is also very good and it is so centrally located. 2 mins by cab or 5 min walk to closest big supermarket and 5-8 mins walk to city center

It was like a slice of paradise. Staff were incredible from the first step in the door, we felt so well looked after. Bryan also organised trips and gave us ideas of places to visit, and booked things for us, he was amazing. The pancakes at breakfast were like doughnuts and my daughter adored them ( she is 20!)They made fresh tasty omelettes or eggs if you wanted them. They even had Twinnings tea :) It was very quiet and had a lovely atmosphere. It had 2 pools and you could have food or drinks brought to you by the pool side.

Wonderful staff, very attentive especially the reception ladies Gladys and Stacey that helped us organize our activities and gave us suggestions. Clean, spacious rooms, beautiful garden and a walking distance to the center.

The family suite had three large bedrooms each having its own ensuite and the lounge and outdoor are was so private an fabulous. The pool was so beautiful and fun for the kids. the view overlooking the Zimbabwe National Reserve waterhole was breathtaking. We saw elephants, buffalo, giraffes, baboons, antelope and many species of birds every day. The Zimbabwe Staff were so helpful and happy it was infectious 😁.

    Look out cafe is amazing! Courtney Lodge is a great place to stay! Victoria Falls Discovery Tours are the best to take you to Chobe and to book you the Helicopter Tour of the mighty Vic Falls Want some amazing fine wildlife photos to take home, then visit Tami Walker Fine Art Gallery. The best bacon for breakfast is at Ilala Lodge. They also have amazing accommodation with wildlife coming right to your room window (if you are lucky to be placed on the ground floor.

    It's a wonderful place to visit, offering plenty of activities for both adults and kids. While things can be a bit pricey since everything is in USD, we had a fantastic experience in a clean city with friendly, accommodating people. We also felt very safe walking around.

    The falls are an awesome example of God's beauty and power in creation. The sunset river cruise is a must also. The Smokehouse and Three Monkeys are great places with delicious food and good service.

    We loved Victoria Falls - the town and the beautiful amazing...

    We loved Victoria Falls - the town and the beautiful amazing scenery. Our tour guide, Joy, from Backpackers Bazaar was FABULOUS! I can't recommend her highly enough. She met us at the airport and arranged all of the excursions, seamlessly, and with the best costumer service I have ever experienced. We enjoyed hikes by the falls; photos in Angels Pool; the helicopter ride and viewing; Chobe National Park; viewing three black rhinos, MANY elephants, two lions, and lots of antelope species. We hope to return to Victoria Falls to experience the Sunset Gourmet Dinner Cruise on the Zambezi once again and will work with Joy for any future travels in southern Africa.

    Victoria Falls is well worth a visit, and if time permits...

    Victoria Falls is well worth a visit, and if time permits plan to cross into Zambia to see them from that side as well. Unfortunately the town is tired and does note match the grandeur of this natural wonder. We stayed three nights but in hindsight two would have been plenty. We loved the Falls but the accommodation was only average and generally disappointing (we stayed at two different hotels).

    Liked, Victoria Falls sunrise walk, Helicopter flight over the Falls, Zambesi river sunset boat cruise, Gorge Zipline, Canopy Walk, Boma dinner & drums show, views frrom Victoria falls bridge, Cahamabondo wildlife safari. did not like early morning Boma tram ride to Victoria falls bridge. liked Pick & Pay supermarket. Did not visit Zambia & Botswana, as did not have multiple entry visa
