This is a charming family-run hotel located about five minutes by car from the center of Iza, beautifully nestled in nature. Milena and her family are wonderful hosts and manage the small hotel with great care and warmth. The view is stunning, and the rooms are simple but tastefully decorated and very clean. The hospedaje is located about 3.5 km from Playa Blanca. It’s quiet, very comfortable and the owners are exceptionally nice and helpful. The lake is nice, but heavily toxic due to farming all around it. The next town (Aquitania) is about 40 minutes by bus, but they don’t see a lot of tourists there. I felt a little alienated roaming through the streets.

The location is great, our cabin of in the middle of the woods with views of the tota lake. We arrived at night while raining the guy who received us help us with our luggage and took us to the tree house. Very friendly staff. The breakfast and dinner were delicious.
