Wow, hidden gem. We had villa #8 which had a stunning view of jungle and even the gulf in the distance. Villa was clean and modern and the club house is fantastic (games, infinity pool, plus great staff, service and food!) The caretaker Richie is such a nice guy and has great tips for places to visit. Be prepared this is jungle, which we loved, but that also means if you leave the exterior lights on in evening you'll see spiders the size of your palm and hundreds of bugs! You can probably get to property with any car but once inside a 4x4 is helpful because the hills are insane.

Beautiful quiet and peaceful location with great balcony for watching the wildlife. Saw so many scarlet macaws, parrots and even a kingfisher from the balcony! Very well equipped kitchen and good shower. A/C worked well and comfy bed. Garden area was lovely and even some bikes to use. Friendly host who gave us some fantastic recommendations!

Lovely property in a good,convenient location. The apartment was amazing and had everything you could need, including amazing shampoo and conditioner. The washing machine was an added bonus, so we could get all our washing done. The hosts were friendly, and organized. We received good instructions on how to find the place, how to check in, and check out instructions. This was easily the best value for money accommodation we have stayed in in Costa Rica. Would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in Puerto Jimenez

Amazing place to stay. We had the entire little house to ourselves including well equipped kitchen and terrace. There is washing machine to do some basic laundry. It was a very pleasant stay and location was great. The owner is very friendly

    Location of Albergue La Laguna is great for nature and bird lovers. Lodge is quite simple but beds were comfy, clean and there were no insects in our rooms. Lodge is surrounded by nature - lagoon, forest, meadows. There are only 4 rooms and there is huge space with hammocks, tables, armchairs to relax. Staff was very friendly and they offered tasty breakfast at reasonable price. It was one of 2-3 greatest accomodation during our month stay in Costa Rica. Remote and 4x4 car access only!
