We had a fantastic night at the cottage. So impressed with the location and the property itself. I think it was amazing value for money. We will definitely book to stay again. The only suggestion would be maybe to put blackout curtains in the upstairs bedroom.

Brambles is set in a stunning peaceful spot overlooking neighbouring countryside and horses. The Shepherds hut is beautifully decorated and really thoughtfully furnished/equipped with everything you could possibly need. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Check in was easy and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Overall, we had such a relaxing, albeit brief, stay - our only regret is that we didn't stay for longer! We very much hope to return when back on the IOW next year and highly recommend staying at Brambles 😃

    This property is very well described as a Cosy Victorian cottage. It is situated on a quiet street close to the centre of Newport and is very handy for all restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge is comfortable and well equipped with smart TV, DVD player and Sky box (although I had no idea how to operate it! my bad)
