This property is extremely stylish, clean, and comfortable. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome, with lots of little extras like home made marmalade and quality toiletries. A dedicated parking space was really appreciated. Lots of amenities are within easy walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and as avid readers we made use of the impressive reading library in the lounge. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and would recommend without hesitation

We loved how clean the caravan was. It had everything we needed. We slept so comfortable. Park for the kids to play and swimming pool to book . Beach within walking distance. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

Great location, with one super market within walking distance and two others a short drive away. Park and ride nearby was great alternative to driving into Plymouth, or local bus runs from nearby. House was clean and roomy, with everything provided for a really comfy stay. Well equipped kitchen with good sized fridge freezer, which was a welcome bonus for a fortnights self catering. Had an issue with the washing machine, which turned out just to be our inexperience with child locks! Ivan responded to our plea for help quickly and even came out on a Sunday to sort the problem. We really enjoyed our stay in this house and would definitely stay again.

We like the fully equipped kitchen, lots of cooking utensils for us to cook our chinese new year reunion dinner. The house layout has been nice, with separate living, dining and kitchen area. The property was pre-heated to welcome us, and we thanks the host Teresa (or David) for being so thoughtful as it was a cold breezy day.

WOW OUTSTANDING!! Exactly like the photos, very friendly and welcoming staff from pure service. The building was easily accessible, kitchen fitted with everything you could possible need and more. The bed was by far the comfiest we've ever stayed in and very modern bathroom with heated flooring. It was like home from home experience with lots of options of entertained such as Netflix, amazon prime but also board games. We stayed for 2 nights over the New Year and we hit the jackpot from value for money, to location. The harbour is within a 10 minute drive with beautiful bars, restaurants, cafe and harbour walk (lots of dog friendly places). Would highly recommend to anyone and will certainly be returning in the summer nights for another stay!!

    I like communication with the host. Quick and helpful. We have been travelling by train and cottage is within walking distance from the station. It is very close to the sea and Barbican old town. The host was very welcoming and helpful. Thank you for your treats. We have been feeling like at home. Very nice and cosy. My children loved the selection of board games.

    This was our second stay in Meadow Lodge. It's perfect-really clean with fresh smelling sheets, a cosy carpet, comfortable sitting room and the lodge is so peaceful and surrounded by greenery. The owners left us some milk and cookies which was very welcoming. The area is gorgeous- had an early morning paddle board on the river, dinner and drinks in the riverside pubs and we were close to some great beaches. Definitely recommend.

    Fantastic hosts. The Retreat is a hidden gem in the village of Colebrook, fully equipped, great facilities, self contained gardens and onsite parking, all set in an ideal location to explore the surrounding areas. It had everything we could possibly need and so cosy and comfortable, loved everything about this cottage - we will definitely recommend and will return.

    A lovely comfortable little cottage with everything needed for a cosy stay. Beautiful location and we enjoyed walking along the coast path to the local pubs. Great stay thank you! Owners were super friendly and helpful - helped us and our pup feel right at home!
