We were welcomed very warmly. Loved the location, close to town and an easy and interesting walk from Lake Ilia. The swimming pool and changing rooms looked wonderful, although we didn’t have time to use them. Work is still underway and it will be very splendid soon. There didn’t seem to be any cafes in town, and so we were very pleased to be able to order meals at the hotel, and to be served by the pool. A truly memorable experience. This is a good place to relax away from the tourist trail.

The team was amazing! The atmosphere was so warm and family-like—it was a much more unique and fun experience than we expected, and it exceeded all our expectations! The hostess loves to spoil her guests with delicious food and always made sure we had everything we needed. I definitely wants to come back another time.

We loved a lot staying in the two-bedroom cottage at Matilda Village! It was spacious, cozy, and had everything we needed, including a private bath and a comfortable living room. Everything you will see at this place is handmade by the owner himself and you can tell he and his family put all their heart and soul in it. We had a very comfortable room with a terrace and we also visited the cellar with multitude of paintings, sculpture and Kvevri wine.
