We were pretty excited for this stage of our vacation. We expected that we would encounter a very nice environment, but we had an experience beyond our dreams. We did not give this place to our surroundings because we wanted this place to be special for us, but if you are reading this comment right now, you can make your plan without thinking. We stayed at Apartment Golubica for 5 days and were absolutely delighted with every aspect of it. The apartment is beautifully designed, with a charming mix of modern comfort and the positive energy of ancient stone architecture, it truly reflects the spirit of Stari Grad and the island of Hvar. Everything has been thought through to the smallest detail: the apartment was exceptionally well-equipped, from the abundance of towels and slippers to a wine fridge and even bicycles at our disposal. It was total comfort throughout, and we felt instantly at home. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic stay as a couple, but also ideal for two friends wanting to immerse themselves in the soul of the island. The tasteful interior design enhances the overall experience of Hvar’s beauty and history. Thank you very much for creating such a welcoming and inspiring place. We would love to return!

We booked last minute due to an issue with another hotel we had booked into, but Tereza who dealt with our reservation was amazing and turned a bad situation into the best decision we made all holiday. The villa was immaculate and very well laid out, with nice bathroom fittings and modern furnishings. The location was lovely, with fabulous views and sunsets. A car is advisable, but it is possible to get taxis to and from the villa to Stari Grad. There is a useful information booklet too providing lots of information and advice on the area. All the staff were amazing and so friendly, especially the caretakers Michael and Jane who greeted us at the villa and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay again.

Close to many beaches but still quiet and in the countryside. You can walk to the nearby cove to swim and snorkel. Or take the car to nearby places. The family Babic also have great hospitality. Their home-cooked food is legendary. Better make reservations in advance. You won't regret it. Best food we had during our trip. Don't leave without trying their baked "Peka" octopus. You can also get their top quality local produce. Wine, olive oil, jam, capers, essential oil.. You won't find such pure and great products in any store.

Location is great if you'd like to stay away from the chaos of the port. The beach is literally right in front of your front gate. The host didn't really speak English but that wasn't a problem in the end. Although there were a few tiny flaws it didn't make it any less especial for me. I'd definitely recommend.

Villa Sjora was an absolute highlight of our trip to Hvar. The house is completely new, built in traditional Hvar style, which gives it a unique and authentic charm while still offering all the modern comforts. The outdoor area is a true gem—spacious, beautifully designed, and completely enclosed, which made it feel safe and private, especially for families with kids. We loved the large terrace, the fully equipped outdoor kitchen, and the traditional stone fireplace, perfect for grilling in the evenings. Inside, the villa is spotless, stylish, and extremely well-equipped. The beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning kept everything cool, and having both a washing machine and dryer was a big convenience during our stay. The four private parking spots were also a huge plus. The location is peaceful and quiet, but just a short walk from the sea and the center of Vrboska. The hosts were warm, helpful, and always available for anything we needed. We truly felt at home here and are already looking forward to coming back. Villa Sjora is a place we would gladly return to—and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting Hvar.

Villa JoHa was the perfect spot to stay for our trip to Hvar. The villa is well equipped with everything you need. There are a number of different seating areas to sit and relax - whether you are a sun worshipper or prefer a spot of shade. The pool is a good size and very well looked after. The owners were lovely, welcomed us on arrival, (leaving a few local treats for our stay) and made some recommendations on things to do and places to eat on the island. Vrboska is a picturesque little town with some great restaurants and is a perfect base for exploring the island. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend JoHa for a stop in Hvar.

    It was amazing. Huge area, pine forest, silence, with only five tents. I was with my 7 year old daughter, the tents were cozy, spacious, fully equipped. Great bed and mattress. Two private beaches, two open kitchens. I really had a great time and most important, I totally shouted out of work.

    It was a little piece of heaven! The tents are really cosy and private. The property is so vast that you can always find a little spot for yourself to hang out and enjoy the stunning setting. The little beach is all that it promises and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so much so that we changed our plans and return for a couple more nights.
