Everything to like about this place. Especially the view of mount Agung. The calmness. The whole location made us feel like locals. The architecture of the place. The pool and the bathtub were amazing. The rice fields from around. The nature. And most of all the host Triana, making sure we were always feeling good. There’s good places to eat nearby and is close by walk to a temple and the baths.

Our villa was awesome.It had everything you need.Pool was very nice and bathtube and outdoor bathroom was really great. Breakfast on the villa was very convenient.They offered variety of choices for meals. We would to send a big thanks for all staff,which was very friendly and helpful.

The surroundings are breathtaking, the jungle trees, animal noises, the affinity pool, the beautiful rooms, with marble floors, stunning wooden furniture. The room was huge, we could lie in bed with an incredible jungle view. The staff were so polite, respectful, helpful and friendly. The home-made food was delicious. Whilst there isn't a huge menu selection, the food we ate was so fresh, tasty, large portions and good value. The eggs at breakfast were the best tasting free-range eggs. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, then this is the place to go. It is in an isolated spot, in a village of woodcarvers, about 40-45mins from Ubud. As there are no shops nearby, you may want to consider bringing a few of your own supplies. We hired motorbikes/scooters and rode to Pura Tirta Empul Temple and took part in the holy water purification ceremony (such an amazing experience) and then to Ubud for a late lunch and back to Toya Retreat Villas, such an enjoyable day. The hotel has 3 villas, 2 villas for 2 people and a solo room, thus a maximum of 5 guest's. Usually photos over exaggerate a property, these do not, it is impossible to capture the stunning, peaceful surroundings. This place is a hidden gem, your own piece of paradise. But in saying that, it pains me to write such a glowing review, as I fear my hidden gem may no longer remain hidden.

“I’ll be back !” Great setting, peaceful and surrounded by lush tropical gardens and luxurious native vegetation. The ‘private’ pool is a long way down the hill with many stairs and the pool overlooks a charming flowing river. The sound of the birds and nature in general was so very soothing and relaxing! The architecture - Joglo house design and wooden structure combined with the rustic nature of the accommodation ticked all the boxes for me!! .., oh and Made and his team are so friendly, accommodating and professional. Rather than plastic bottles, a 25 litre mineral water bottle was provided- making it great for refills and doing their bit to cut down on plastic rubbish. A small kitchen with small stove and refrigerator was so handy - as was the supplied Bali Kope. (No Nescafe instant here!). Nothing like having a few morning Bali kope’s while overlooking the river valley and the cool winter mountain mists rising from the valley floor and then knocking back copious Bintangs in the afternoon. The funky outside bathroom made of glass bottle walls was way cool. Also, the owner - Made will order takeaway and delivery. Just too easy. Can’t make enough positive comments about our stay. The only disappointment was not having booked to stay longer.

    This was the best accommodation in my life! A wonderful room with a swimming pool with a view of Batur. The room was clean, cozy and beautifully furnished. The owner is an incredibly nice person. She will help with absolutely everything, if needed (even prepares a bath full of flowers). The breakfasts were also perfect and served right in the room on the beautiful sunny terrace. It is possible to rent scooters in the accommodation. I would love to come back next time I visit Bali

    These are 2 villas located very close to the famous rice terraces. Great view! We thought we would be a little cut off from civilization. But no! Nearby are cafes, restaurants, attractions. Privately managed. The staff is wonderful! They are ready to provide services and you can order a delicious dish from the menu. Cozy, clean, homely. We didn't want to leave! Thank you! Everything was wonderful!

    An easier question would be to ask what we didn’t like - nothing! From the moment we arrived at Nau Villa Ubud we were met with the best customer service I have ever experienced. The staff are truly one in a million and no ask is too much effort. We loved every second of our stay from our romantic dinner on the first night, where the staff pulled out all the stops to make it extra special. To our private day tour to a floating breakfast in our own pool. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

    Amazing place, the view is stunning, interior cozy and romantic. Triana is the kindest and sweetest host, great communication and very helpful. The food was great, ordered floating breakfast and was blown away <3 would recommend
