We loved our stay at Mon Petit Cottage - this is a wonderful B&B with excellent hosts. We had a lovely welcome by Cathy with freshly made scones. The room was great - spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent and Paul's freshly roasted coffee was another added bonus. Perfect stopover from Dublin/Wicklow Mountains to Kilkenny. We also enjoyed a fish and chips dinner in the local restaurant and pint in the local pub in Bunclody.

It had everything we needed: a fridge, a washing machine, each bedroom and an unsuite. It was located around the corner from a supermarket and there is a nice pub nearby - The Railway House. We called the owner because we didn't know how to lock the front door (lift up the handle) and he was lovely and friendly. Would recommend.

Bunclody is a lovely village and this house was wonderful. Great host, communication was excellent and very prompt. Four beautiful bedrooms, great for us having one bedroom downstairs. Plenty of room for 6 adults, everything you could need in the kitchen although we didn't use it much as we mostly ate out. Host left tea, coffee, milk, butter and bread which we appreciated. Heating was great, warmed up really quickly making it super cosy. We had a beautiful breakfast at Sugar & Spice, I'd pre ordered a birthday cake which they brought out with a candle and sang once we'd finished eating. We also ate at Rivers Edge which was nice, had takeaway from Mick the Chipper and enjoyed the Jack Rabbit next door to the house which was very warm and cosy with a lovely owner, lots of family games scattered around such as Connect4, Snakes and Ladders, Draughts and Chess. House was a great base for us to explore nearby towns and I would highly recommend staying here.

I loved how clean it was! It was all we needed for a cozy stay. We received the instructions prior to the arrival which were very clear on how to get the jacuzzi going. The water in jacuzzi was fresh as well! We also got the local chipper deliver to us while we were relaxing in the jacuzzi. Also it’s only a 15min walk to the local pub. Amazing stay, definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a nice city break and a private jacuzzi with amazing river Derry views.

The Hosts were super friendly, the cottage spotless, welcoming and comfortable with all that we needed, even snacks, bottled water, etc. It was above expectations. We will not hesitate to stay at Felicity Cottage again should we ever be in the area. The little village and surrounding country side is fantastic, if you seek calmness.

Our hosts, Janine and John were wonderfully welcoming as were their 2 dogs who were full of fun and looking for a pat. Our cottage was perfect and very comfortable with everything we needed. Janine provided some extras too which was very thoughtful - fresh eggs from their ducks and chickens, home made jams, cereal, oats, milk and bread too. We had a very peaceful nights rest and awoke in our rural idyll with cattle at the gate and chickens at the door.

It was an exceptionally clean and cosy house with lots of old world charm. Very quiet and peaceful. We were at a wedding in Mount Worsley hotel in Tullow and it was only a 20 minute drive. Local taxi ( number provided by host) collected us in the early hours,

We stayed at The Hollow for three nights. It's in a remote area which we loved. The house was warm and cosy and full of character. Would love to have stayed a bit longer.
