very nice and clean newly renovated proprty in modern style, in a little inner square about 100m from the cathedral, in the middle of the old town. This brings a slight adevnture if you are arriving by car, as driving in palermo, especially the old town, can be extremely unnerving. Jessica, the host, is the best and most friendly and accomdating host you could ever wish for, the communication upfront, and during our travel to the property was exemplary. She called and asked if we had already organized the pass for the traffic limitation zone, then went out and bought one for us and activated it herself before we got there, no hassles. When we coudnt find the property she went doen to the piazza and waited for us there..she even let us leave our car in the parking lot after we had finished renting the property and had already checked out! Private parking is a massive plus, otherwise you are totally lost in the area, but dont drive anything larger than a VW Golf…. This was up to now one of the best places we have stayed and one of the best hosts we have experienced. Thank you Jessica for your kindness all the help and hospitality you gave us! (nd the restaurant tips..)

The villetta had everything we needed for our short stay in Sicily. It was clean, comfortable and close to good seafood restaurants. Though overlooking the sea, the rocky coast was not ideal for swimming, though it was easy to travel by bus to sandy beaches. The local train service made it easy to travel to Palermo and to the airport.
