We had a wonderful stay and felt very much at home—our whole family really enjoyed it. We especially loved being able to enjoy the hot spring right where we were staying; it was such a special experience. The staff were also kind enough to help us book a local dinner that is usually hard to reserve — we truly appreciated it. We hope you continue to maintain this great service. This place had all the amenities you could think of. Very thoughtful with everything from suggestions and places to visit, closest supermarkets/convenient stores and even free onsen bath tickets which we unfortunately didn't have time to use. The free bassinet provided was very handy for our 9 month old. Joh's place was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was the highlight, we were able to cook delicious meals using all the kitchen tools available. Joh was also extremely responsive, even at 9pm at night when we heard a random chime and panicked. Lawson is literally a 30 second walk away. I would highly recommend staying here and wouldn't hesitate to rebook his place again.

It is a beautiful traditional Japanese house with an inspiring garden and a private onsen. The property is large with 3000 sq. ft. The owner wants to protect the heritage, and our family is grateful to have the wonderful experience of staying in this property. We keep on praising this is the number one highlight of our trip, though Beppu, Yufuin and Oita have so many attractions to offer. The house is large, clean, well maintained, owner has put flowers in many spots inside, much more blossom in the garden, we have taken many photos of birds, there is a huge rock in the garden, with a presence of stability and calmness. The onsen is private, easy to drain and refill by natural hot onsen, a extremely high quality of the water, able to soothe our tiredness and good for skin, it is simply the best , and we have stayed in much more expensive onsen hotel in the same region. I highly recommend this property to couple, family and friends to stay in this fabulous house, it is close to town center and many tourist spots and is right next to Beppu park, with the convenience of private parking just in front of the house, and bus stops. Owner can speak functional English, we have good communication by writing messages. Thank you so much, Sakura family.

This time, I traveled with my family and had a hard time finding clean accommodations in a good location. So, for the first time, we decided to rent an entire house. Initially, I was a bit confused about how to access the house because the owner sent instructions via Booking.com in Japanese. After translating the message, I realized that the house could be accessed using a code. When we arrived, I was quite surprised because the house was much bigger than I had expected. It even had a spacious parking area within the property, large enough to accommodate two cars. Inside, the living room was cozy, and there was a kitchen area perfect for cooking, making it ideal for a trip with a large group of friends. This time, I came with my family of five. On the second floor, there were three bedrooms with six beds and one bathroom. For those who prefer sleeping on tatami mats, there’s a tatami area on the first floor, near the living room, which can accommodate two more people. The ground floor also featured a fairly large bathroom. At first, I was a bit confused about how to turn on the hot spring water. I accidentally turned on regular hot water instead. Later, I found out that the mineral spring water could be accessed by turning a red-colored knob, which was different from the regular taps. Overall, I really loved this house and would definitely like to stay here again on my next trip!

The property had EVERYTHING we needed and more. They provided towels and complete amenities. There were washing machines, a private sauna, indoor and outdoor onsens, dishwasher, a fully stocked wine cellar, complete gym, Bang and Olufsen Speakers. I wish we could have booked 2 nights. Unfortunately, someone had already booked the night after us.
