The place was nice and cosy. Not too far from the Badulla railway station, either. The owner was a very nice lady, and she helped us out with a few things. Beds weren't too bad, there was a lovely living room, and the weather wasn't as cold as expected. The owners husband helped us locate a tuktuk on our way back to the station the next day. Nice people, good location and we really enjoyed our stay there.

This place is unbelievable. Perfect location to be away from traffic in Ella and the hospitality was outstanding. Brought us a bottle of wine for our honeymoon and made us tea every night before bed. Breakfast was delicious and all for a unbelievable price.

Very clean place, very clean bed (cleanest bed we had so far in Sri Lanka), beautiful view and balcony in front of every room. Bathroom with very hot water and window. Super nice host. Breakfast very tasty and variable. Located a bit on the hill, walk about 5-10 minutes to the centre, restaurants nearby, but also nature. Perfect location. Maybe one of the loveliest rooms we booked in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. It had 2 beds, a porch and a view on the opposite hill with a Buddhist temple. It is not in downtown Ella but you get the view, so it's a question of taste. Breakfast was served on the porch and was delicious. The owner was great and helped us organize our pickup to and from the cottage as well as a driver to go to Yala.

What a scenic view from the balcony! A little bit outside of Ella, so really quiet. Perfect room, tasty breakfast served on our balcony. Hosts were so genuinely nice and even helped me out with special care after I got food poisoning. They really went beyond to make sure we had a great stay.
