Clean room, very friendly host and very cute puppies !! (called Sera and Nora) We are two girls and felt very safe! The host was very helpful and helped us with arranging a safari. The safari was super nice, we saw the leopard, elephant and our favourite: the sloth bear. For a full day safari they arrange breakfast, lunch and some snacks so it was good worth of money.

Our stay at Corner Cottage was great! The couple where so welcoming and warm. The food they cooked for us was so tasty! We did a cooking class with them aswell, which was so fun and interesting! They took such good care of us. The room is simple, yet spacious and clean, as is the bathroom. The bed was big, so very comfortable for my 2 meter long boyfriend ;) You also have a living area with sofas. If you go to Anuradhapura, I would really recommend staying at Corner Cottage!

Finding this place on Booking was pure luck — we’ve felt at home from start to finish. They served us delicious traditional dinners and breakfasts, and the attention was outstanding. Our host and her mother are truly wonderful people. She even showed us the river behind her house and took us to the bus station, helping us find the exact bus we needed. I recommend everyone coming to Anuradhapura to stay here. It’s been one of the most unique and beautiful experiences we’ve had while traveling. This was an amazing stay! We stayed in the suite and it was amazing. The room is very good but what makes this place special is the staff. The property is located just about 200m from the Puttalam-Anuradhapura main road, in a calm and quite neighborhood, overlooking a paddifield in the distance. Ideal for a relaxing stay. It takes just about 5 minutes to reach the sacred Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi temple. I went with my family, the moment we entered the property, we were really impressed with the cleanliness. The garden, living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and everything else was well cleaned and maintained. The place was absolutely spotless. The owners even recommended few places to dine-in & the food was delicious. The place offers everything you look forward for a peaceful and calm stay. Will definitely be going back.
