This is a house in an area of two rows of semi-detached houses along the Pengerang beach (the area in known as Kampung Gambut). The houses can be easily seen from the main road between Desaru and Pengerang town. Location-wise, the house is very strategically located with easy access to a rather clean beach. One can catch a nice sunrise but not sunset, as Pengerang is located on the east side of Peninsular Malaysia. We even saw a family of hornbills on the trees at the beach during our walk to catch the sunrise in the morning. Bring a good camera and binoculars to see the birds. The house is very spacious and rather well-maintained (except for some co-webs and stains on the faucets in one of the bathroom. Otherwise the house is very cozy for a group of 5 - 10 people. Only one car can fit at the porch but other cars can be parked at a public car park near the beach or in front of the house.. There is also a campsite near the house where those who prefer to sleep in tents can do so. Water pressure in the bathrooms and kitchen was strong and the air conditioner in each room and the living were all in perfect working condition. The sofas and chairs were all comfortable to sit on as well. I was surprised that the beds were comfortable and I was able to have a good night sleep without any backache. Two pillows on each bed were soft and comfy. The TV channels were limited to the basic Astro Njoy channels. There is no wi-fi in the house so guests will need to use their own 4G subscription.
