What a beautiful find. An entire cottage that was equipped with food, wine and everything we needed for a wonderful visit to Te Awanga and Hawkes Bay. We arrived later than expected, followed the instructions for the keys and settled in after a day's driving. The sunset over the vines and the bay when we arrived was breathtaking. Kirsten and Tim called in to ensure we were comfortable and offered us a wine tasting at Clearview, the winery next door. We also had a gift of a bottle of Topsy Turvey Syrah, which was delicious. The bed was so cosy with the plumpest doona! There were also cooking magazines to utilise the kitchen and try out recipes with the local produce - I loved that. Excellent lamb, rich cheeses and outstanding wines. Who could ask for more?

Fantastic accommodation. Everything you need is there. Modern well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Clean and tidy. A bonus was the spa pool. Close to the city centre, walking distance to a large supermarket. The host Kelly was very keen that we were comfortable in her accommodation. We felt very welcome! Highly recommend this accommodation..

I loved there communication! They had a warm welcome and were easy to approach. I had to add an extra person to our stay. They messaged back that they were happy with me having an extra person with no extra charge to my stay. For our time spent at this amazing cosy cottage we were neighbours 😊 They didn't hound or bother us not once but we were left with a friendly neighbourly message with there contact details if we should need anything. I loved everything from the inside of there home all the way to the sheep in the backyard hahaha you thought of everything!! Nice warm homely touch away from home. Top marks with the cleanliness 100% ✓ My father who was apart of this trip is a chef an his exception level of what he calls "clean" is very high and he was very impressed. I would like to thank you both very much for being the greatest to deal with. Keep doing exactly what you both are doing!! Your home is beautiful. From my family to urs.. We are greatful to have enjoyed and experienced "Dunray Cottage"🙏🏆🥇

    Check in was quick and easy, thanks Tony and Rachel. The property is well maintained. Our family was in the two bedroom cottage (Bluebell) and although the property shared with 2 other cabins, it was set up so privacy was not an issue. Very quiet and relaxing. Cleanliness and comfort were exceptional. Lots of little extras (games, bike rental, chickens….). Definitely a recommendation.

    Lovely cottage in quiet location Clean and tidy Able to get the RWC on room TV Given a handy map with closed bike paths to plan our vineyard ride easier Close to waterfront Location was good for the Cape kidnappers Trail run, we were able to zip back and shower/have lunch before the prize giving But it is a good 25km bike ride to the main cluster of vineyards

    Cottages were nestled in a lush garden environment with lots of Birds chirpping. I saw a Pheasant strolled by but it flew off once it spotted me. Haha Fixtures in house are meticulously thought out and of high quality. It is a special experience I would highly recommend, especially for a romantic get away! ^ -^ !

    The cottage was beautiful and private. It was a cold day when we arrived and the heat pump was on make it cosy and warm. It was situated beautifully for the cycle trails which were fantastic.

    Everyting is wonderful. The utensils, the bedding ,the facilities and the cosy comfortable and tranquil garden. The manager Jan is so patient and considerate. She kept me informed before my arrival about the weather things and so on. My wife and I greatly appreciate the stay at Lawn cottage and Jan's help.
