Loved everything about it. An idyllic spot with the sound and sight of Tui’s feeding nearby. Cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. Well located for the shopping centre and a short drive to the beaches. Susan and Gavin were delightful hosts.

    It’s really cute and cosy. The owner was lovely and friendly and promptly responded to our messages. The cottage was clean and tidy. The bed was comfy and shower had good water pressure. Breakfast was included which we had outside on the nice balcony.

    An idyllic veranda overlooking a valley, full of birds. This little cottage is fantastic, Susan and Gavin have thought of everything, even putting the coffee beans in the machine ready for breakfast! The rooms are enormous, bed super comfy and the bathroom is luxurious. I would travel out of my way just to stay here!!

    We had a lovely and relaxing time at Birdsong Cottage. What an amazing spot with all the birds giving their best sound. The Tui's went wild, bellbirds singing loud, fantails and kereru and even Rosela's flying around. Just sitting on the deck, come to ease and pease and relaxig. The cottage is immaculately clean and super cosy and convenient. The bed and bedlinen is of outstanding quality. We will come back in the near future.

    Bed is super comfy, lots of attention to detail, such as leaving spare eggs for breakfast, decent coffee, flowers on table, little chocolates and similar. The cottage was warm on arrival, which made it super cosy (as a cold day). Lovely feeding station outside by the porch for the tui. Fabulous view of bush and plenty of birdlife. Very clean cottage, this is the second time we have stayed here and would not hesitate to recommend.
