Everything Maria was excellent to communicate with and went out of her way to help us. We needed accommodation and she helped us out . The best beds we have slept in yet.

you immediately feel welcome to the moment you enter the home, but it was the host that made all the difference. The home is cleanly, warm and inviting. Make sure to visit the backyard and enjoy the fresh New Zealand fruit. You have the option of eating Feijoa, apples, kiwis, grapes etc. You certainly get cottage vibes. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

This little unit is right on the Te Awa cycleway which suited us perfectly. It's comfortable and very clean. The owner had left milk, coffee and a selection of teas which was very thoughtful. There's a washing machine and space to hang out washing.

Great fresh bread made for us, fresh farm eggs in the fridge and a peaceful location just a short drive into town if you needed to head out for anything. Lots of country golf courses, walks and things to do nearby but equally a great place to stop and let time pass by. Great sense of past history and furniture in keeping with the heritage of the building

Don’t expect 5star accommodation. Old cottage feels so has old bones that need an upgrade. It serves its purpose as a nice warm comfy clean place for the night and had everything we needed. Our master room had an ensuite however didn’t use the shower due to poor/no ventilation. House is within walking distance to town and Pak n Sav is conveniently across the road.

Everything was spotless, the kitchen had everything that we needed, the fresh bread and eggs were much appreciated. We enjoyed reading about the history of the cottage. Our host Steve was very friendly.

A charming period cottage in a peaceful garden setting. Tastefully furnished in a style that matched the building. We loved the extra touches - home-made bread, free -range eggs.
