Amazing location with incredible view. House was super comfortable and well equipped. Nuno was an amazing host and provided us with great recommendations for the area as well as practical advice for when we spent the day in Porto. Very modern and clean. Linda who prepared breakfast was a super star.

We were thrilled with the accommodations! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of rose wine from the winery. The suite was modern with full size appliances. The linens and towels were of a high quality and were were even provided with bathrobes and pool towels. The balcony has a stunning view of the Duoro Valley and we enjoyed taking a dip in the pool on hots days after touring.

Cute, quaint bed and breakfast about an hour away from most local destinations (Passadicos do Paiva, Lamego, etc). The hospitality and friendliness of couple who run the bed and breakfast was great. I didn't speak much Portuguese and they didn't speak much English, but we muddled through. Breakfast was typical with meat/cheese/bread and homemade cakes. The room is quaint, clean, and spacious. The sheets were fleece and kept me nice and warm despite the chilly night. Parking is easy. Wifi was okay in certain parts of the room. There are several restaurants and a grocery store about 5 minutes drive away.

    The host, Mr. Antonio I believe, was super welcoming and told us about the historuy of the house and how much love he put into rebuilding it. The room that we stayed in was just superb, really cozy and well decorated.

    Traditional charming Portuguese country house with amazing views The kind caretakers Manuel and his beautiful wife who baked and left us a huge delicious cake) greeted us on arrival and shared some excellent restaurant recommendations via Google translate ( you couldn’t ask for a better greeting)

    The property is an idyllic hideaway with amazing views of the Douro. The accommodation is charming and the host, Maria, is delightful and so helpful, she even looked after our dogs for us so that we could go on a river boat trip. We loved Casa do Moleiro and stayed an extra night because we were so happy there.We will definitely return.
