We found it more of a family run restaurant with accommodation than a farm stay but we really enjoyed our stay. It is a farm, a fruit farm so there were no farm animals (if you have children). The host was very friendly and helpful, the location on a large property was great and the evening meal and breakfast were both very good. The outdoor dining area is very pleasant and the indoor dining would also be very good in cooler weather. There is a large parking area and several campervans were using this area.

What we loved and remembered most was the wonderful hospitality of the hosts! They are very kind, always ready to help, and greeted us with pleasant souvenirs. The owner took us for a carriage ride through the forest, drawn by two beautiful Lipizzan horses, and it was an amazing experience. The horses were too big for our three-year-old son, so he didn't ride them, but they lived next to us, and we could come and pet them every day. Our child was thrilled. I also want to recommend the hiking with goats through the forest, which the hostess helps organize. It's super unusual and interesting for kids. The house is quite spacious, clean, and the beds are comfortable. It had everything we needed, and we could ask the hosts for anything missing. The house is located on the hosts' family property, opposite their house, but there is a cozy corner with a table, secluded by bushes, where you can be almost in privacy. There are no fences around (actually, all gates are open), but the house is on the outskirts, with hardly any cars nearby. We comfortably let our child wander around the cottage. He joyfully ran barefoot on the green lawn and even the rocky paths. The whole area of Povir makes a wonderful impression with its manicured lawns and flower beds. It's pleasant to walk around the neighborhood. But, of course, a car is necessary :)

Anja was a super host! She warmly welcome us providing all the preliminary info via mail, then she did the same up on our arrival and she led an amazing wine tasting experience (provided by the Winery Zorz) with her colleague Eva. Breakfast was amazing: they provided also gluten free foods for us! Room new and clean

    Very cosy, very homey stay. Owner was wonderful, friendly. Food is home made from what they grow. We loved everything. Location is excellent, close to highway, local attractions - Skotcjan caves, Predjama and postoina and even coastal towns are reached easily. Kid loved hens and pigs on the farm. We highly recommend the place for stay!
