We absolutely loved the spaciousness of the house, which provided plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The calming atmosphere made it the perfect getaway, allowing us to unwind and feel completely at ease. The kids had an amazing time, thoroughly enjoying the open space to explore and play. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home, and the excellent service both during and after our stay made the experience even more special. It was truly a wonderful place to make lasting memories, and we can’t wait to return.

The cottage exceeded my expectations. As I walked in I said "my goodness it's just like it looks on the website". Everything was clean and tidy, all items that I required were available in the kitchen. The shower was a good size and completely clean. There was a good flow of water, shampoo and soap were supplied and there were plenty of towels There were plenty of plugs points for my computer and cheese biscuits were provided along with 2 bottles of water. Sandi, the owner and my hostess ensured that I was happy with everything on my arrival. All in all, it was the best apartment of its sort in which I have ever stayed and the quality of the room exceeded that of the rooms which I have occupied in many guesthouses. I look forward to my next visit to Gordons Bay and will certainly hope to stay at

Sara is the perfect host, and Tuckaway is the perfect place to stay when in the Cape Town area. The self-contained accommodation is immaculate, very comfortable, and looking out onto an amazing garden, with the mountains of Sir Lowry's pass providing a breath taking backdrop. Quiet and secluded, the beautiful beach and welcoming village of Gordon's Bay, Somerset West and the excellent Somerset Mall are all minutes away by car. I especially like this area for giving easy access to many points around the area within a leisurely drive - Cape Point and the peninsula, Betty's Bay, Hermanus, Stellenbosch, Franschoek and Cape Town itself are all close at hand. I hope it will not he long before I can again return to this beautiful "home away from home."

    Everything from booking to leaving was exceptional! Nick and Dena go out of their way to make it the perfect stay. We were there for a wedding and were incredibly busy. They were so accommodating and friendly. So many sweet touches and a home filled with love. I would recommend Weavers cottage as the PERFECT holiday spot.
