The breakfast was excellent and a lovely start to the day. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we couldn’t try the dinner option, but there's a great restaurant called Erta within walking distance. If you're visiting in the summer, there's also a great public swimming pool just 5 km away. We truly regret not spending more time at Guesthouse Hoxholli – the surrounding area is full of interesting places to explore.

Very handy for the cafes and restaurants and to enjoy the evening promenade. Just remember that you're not in a tourist town so not everyone speaks English and accept that as part of the fun 😊 I stayed over to go hiking in Shebenik National Park, which was quite easy to arrange after exchanging some whatsapp messages with Kida (owner) who recommended someone. I really enjoyed the hike, nice scenery and didn't see another tourist all day.

The house had the necessary conditions and modest prices to take vacations in a wonderful place. After I got the keys to the restaurant, we went to the house and lit the fire ourselves, and we had the whole house as our own until tomorrow when we left. The owner of the house, who had excellent communication, had left everything ready for us and did not come to the house at all, leaving us to feel as if we had our own house in the forest. Our little girl now has a house in the forest 🤣🤣🤣
