We used the cycles to go 2km to the local village (all along a flat cycle path) for our evening meal at restaurant Halte22 (this restaurant was much better than its website suggested, we recommended booking, because it was packed).

We spent some great days in Ewa and Jarek's house. The house in picturesque Kortenberg is a super place to relax in peace and quiet. It is also a good place for outings to larger cities like Leuven and Brussels. The house itself is well equipped, suitable for a family with children. A huge asset is a backyard, where there is, among other things, a barbecue, a fireplace, a vegetable garden, and exercise equipment. Amazing impressions were the colorful ducks and chickens running around the yard, it was a great attraction for children. The hosts are helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend it!

The design, colours, style and finishing waa just beautiful. We loved the little finishing touches. We didnt like the projector screen tv as not easy to see in the daylight, but thats just a personal preference.

It is easy to checkin via a code, good internet speed and the house has everything you need. We travelled with a little baby and we had no issues in terms of how well the house was equipped. Clean, warm, comfortable beds, large garden, easy to park and find. You reach Merode/Schuman in 40 mins under traffic or 20 without, by car. I recommend using a car as with the public transport would take longer. The train station is 8 mins away as well the supermarkets. Communication with the host was fast and easy. I recommend this accomodation.

Is extensively equipped with everything you need for your stay. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful. The setting in the woods is amazing. So quiet and peaceful. Swings kept the children happy! We highly recommended staying at this property. Very close to Leuven.
