Everything was absolutely beautiful—this place is a true oasis surrounded by lush greenery. After a long hike, the swimming pool was incredibly refreshing. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful; one night, we forgot our keys, and a lady arrived promptly to assist us. The living room is bright and airy, featuring relaxing swings that add to the charm. The bedrooms, elegantly decorated in a Bali-inspired style, are right in front of the pool, creating a serene and luxurious atmosphere.

We were met by Lieve at the Ferry Terminal, she arranged a rental car and guided us to the villa (10 minutes from the Ferry Terminal). Lieve and Geert went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possibe. The Villa has been built by them with an eye for detail. The villa is very spacious, 3 spacious bedrooms, each with a toilet/bath room, in two of these rooms next to the double beds bunkbeds for two kids. In living room an additional seperate toilet on top. Also a spacious kitchen with everything you need. The swimming pool is covered every evening so it stays warm (28 Celsius). Very important in winter months, we were at some other places where swimming was only for the brave (24 C) or even unbarable (20 C).

The setting is tranquil and pleasant within a fertile garden in the spectacular valley above Ribeira Grande, very close to town. You can walk to local markets, eateries, and stores in 10 minutes. The staff is very helpful and friendly, ready to assist with any matter and offer produce from the garden. This is also a great location to do most of the spectacular drives around the island or choose any of the stunning hikes available in the mountains or coastline. We stayed longer than we planned because we loved it so much.

The pool is awesome, the location dreamlike. Simple but efficient accommodation. The fridge was filled with complimentary goodies. Recommended.

This is a perfect place for hiking enthusiasts. Located within walking distance of Ribeira Grande, it is surrounded by stunning scenery and serene landscape. From the front door you can hike to Xôxô and walk through the beautiful valley of Ribeira de Torre. The upper terrace is a great place to relax after a long hike and enjoy the view and the sun. The staff is absolutely incredible and goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and cared for. The owner is always there to answer your questions and take care of all the little details. Our room was spacious with a large window overlooking the banana plantation and mountains. The shared bathroom was clean and had hot water.
