We have been travelling in Iceland for 3 weeks and have stayed in some outstanding (plus a couple of not quite outstanding) accommodations. The Lake House is by far our favourite. The view from the conservatory and the deck were exceptional. We decided to take a ‘rest day’ here to just enjoy the view, the peace and the hot pot. It was great having access to coffee, herbs and spices left by the owners to use in our meal prep. Access was very easy with the lockbox. The heating was already on for us which was greatly appreciated. Btw I loved the swans in the pond. 😂

Extra bonus: the Northern Lights appeared while we were taking our bath in the hot tub outside!! Many thanks for the whole experience! Should be one of the first options to stay in Iceland!

Comfortable room and soft bed, smart TV so new and provided relaxing music in the living room. The kitchen is well equipped with new cooking utensils for us to cook up a great meal. The Aurora came with full glory at night, making our stay even more unforgettable. Thanks to Kuna and Por for the beautiful apartment. How we wish we could stay a few more days.

At the farm stay, each unit is fitted with a wardrobe. All units have a shared bathroom, a hair dryer and bed linen. It's a beutiful farm situated in such a gorgeous valley with mouintains, sheeps and little lake. The nature itself is an experience you will never forget. And the silence around it's so calming. The accomodation itself is very nice too, comfortable and clean. Only regret is that we didn't ask if we can cuddle the sheeps. They were so cute...
