He arranged an incredible dinner for us (his mother cooked) and the breakfast was also awesome. He also played some UNO almost until midnight with us and we talked a lot about stuff in Sri Lanka and Yala especially. The vila is big and beautiful, the rooms are completely soundproof (the massive doors help a lot). Udara also hosts three snakes in a tree in the garden and they are so small and beautiful, and also harmless. He also went with us to a temple nearby and explained the history of it. Thank you for having us!

The owner was super nice, and made sure we had everything we needed. The place is clean, the room is very big with an amazing outdoor/indoor shower. The service for the food was also super nice, always on time and the choice of food was very variegated. We also did the safari with them, which is 10/10 recommended. The price is the average but we were alone in the jeep, with a private guide and a driver. They made sure we were seeing every animal, explain to us everything while we were going around. Super recommended!

The country house specialises in an American and Asian breakfast and breakfast in the room is also available. Staying at the House of Freedom was a little adventure. the room is small but nice, Isubu is a great host (if you stay here, ask him what there is to do, he knows so much about the area and "has a guy" for almost anything) If you want a luxury stay and accomodation, you are at the wrong place. If you are fine with open air shower, basic toilet and no AC, this is a place for you. There are all kinds of animals around the house, apparently Elefants visit too. Isubu gave us a Bird-watching-walking tour in the morning before our departure which is truely the cherry on top of it all.
