We had the most amazing time at Leel’s Safari cottage! The room was perfect—super clean, beautifully designed, with air conditioning and a hot water. You can really tell how much effort they put into making everything just right. It felt so cozy and welcoming. The garden outside was lovely—well-kept, peaceful, and such a nice place to relax. And the food… wow! The meals cooked by Leel’s mom and his wife were the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Thank you both for making every meal so special! We also did the sunrise safari with Leel, and it was incredible🌅 He’s so professional and knows the park so good. He explained everything so calmly and made sure we didn’t miss anything. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thank you so much, Leel, for an unforgettable stay. We only stayed for two nights, but we could have easily stayed longer. The room was clean, and our favorite feature was the outdoor bathroom, which we absolutely loved — it had a toilet, a regular shower, a natural waterfall-style shower, and even a small private plunge pool or bathtub — really fantastic. The location is great — right in the center of town, but it feels like you’re in the jungle. It’s beautifully arranged, and it’s definitely worth spending time relaxing on the terrace. The owner is extremely friendly and also offers dinners and a safari trip to Udawalawe National Park.

The place is relaxing and very homey feels like. The owner of the place is a couple and have done fantastic accommodation and services. The room was tidy, especially the bathroom. They serve delicious food for breakfast. Our whole 2 nights stay was well spent. Many thanks to Amila and family for treating us not just like guests but more of a family. 🥰

We stayed for 2 nights at V Cabanas and absolutely loved the place and the warm, welcoming family. The home has a peaceful view over the paddy fields, and beautiful jackfruit trees and a well-kept garden surround the property. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning. Every morning we were served a delicious Sri Lankan-style breakfast with hoppers, pancakes, fresh fruit, and tea – a perfect start to the day! From V Cabanas, we also arranged a safari to udawalawe National Park. Everything was excellently organized – the jeep was in great condition and the driver was experienced and friendly. We were lucky to see elephants, monkeys, deer, birds, and best of all – a leopard! Truly an unforgettable experience. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

The surroundings of the house, with a well-kept garden full of greenery, were delightful.
