Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food se nachází v historickém venkovském domě obklopeném zahradou a vinicemi. Visiting the Douro region I found the best thing to do is to stay here. You will experience everything Douro region has to offer! Throughout your visit you will experience several tasting of the excellent portwines of the house. And staying there you don’t need to drive anymore. (Large carpark). There is a joint drink followed by a communal dinner. The food is excellent and portwines are used in the food as well. It’s a very nice to socialize with other guests. There is a lovely swimming pool with nice seating area overlooking the wineslopes. Rooms are spotless, very comfortabel and atmospheric. Last but not least: there is a beautiful 2 hour hike from the premises through the winefields with magnificant Douro riverviews from high above! This all makes for an unforgettable experience! QUINTA DA FAÍSCA - Agro Turismo se nachází v destinaci Favaios a nabízí ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a klimatizací a venkovní bazén. Natur Waterpark se nachází 23 km odtud a Museu do Douro 40 km. We were a trio of friends visiting the Douro region for the first time and this was a fantastic experience. Driving into the Quinta and opening the doors to the house was a dream come true for the beauty and peace and quiet of the vast vineyards. Breakfast was delivered daily to the house and we enjoyed lazing by the pool and walking around the estate. Fernanda hosted us for the winery walk and tasting and we ended up with several bottles of wine to take home. Thank you for the warmth and hospitality we felt at the Quinta. We hope to return soon.

It was simply beautiful, we had the pool view room though I have to say the pool, though lovely, was the last thing your eyes feasted on, the views over the mountains and vineyards being exceptional. Pulling the window blinds up in the room took your breath away. Spotlessly clean, fresh and airy. Maria was amazing, very knowledgeable and freely giving of the interesting family history and arranged restaurants and taxis for us which was most helpful. We obviously had to sample the wine and port, again very good, the White Reserva being most excellent, so much so we had to buy some to take home to add to our collection (if it gets there!). The small but perfectly pared nibbles with the wine and port were very naughty but nice. We would definitely stay again and would certainly fully recommend anyone to visit as a must do, great place for all the great Douro river and port wine activities in a peaceful environment. The village is great too. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Everything was just perfect. Very peaceful place with everything you might need: nice and caring hosts, great home-cooked dinner, excellent breakfast, both indoor and outdoor pools, beautiful garden and views from the hill are 😍
