Boasting a garden and views of garden, Maison Cat Ba Bay View Villa is a recently renovated villa situated in Cat Ba, 1.8 km from Cat Co 2 Beach. An interesting place and makes me excited when I come here. Everything in the house with Indochina architecture mixed with indigenous culture shows the very high aesthetic of the owner here. The villa's butler is very professional and cares about every touch point of the customer's experience. Highly recommend this place

Situated within 1.3 km of Monkey Island Beach and 1.4 km of Đảo Khỉ Beach in Cat Ba, Eco Floating Farm Stay Cai Beo provides accommodation with seating area. This floating farmstay is the best way to experience Lan Ha Bay for adventurous travellers looking to go off the beaten track and into the quieter corners of the archipelago. The house is cozy and well equipped, and the meals we had were excellent (special mention of the grilled fresh fish dishes) and plentiful. We appreciated the natural beauty and serenity of the floating house and its surroundings, and above all the freedom to explore Cai Beo and Lan Ha at our own pace on the kayaks, stopping for photos as we wish and meeting locals on some of the rafts. Hoa and Tran were excellent hosts, lovely and kind, super helpful with their advice on the best kayaking routes and attentive to every single request we had. Their nephew Toan looked after us on the floating farm and took us on an epic night kayaking trip around the Cai Beo bay to see bioluminescent plankton. We are really grateful for our excellent stay and would recommend it to fellow adventurers!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Little Alley House is located in Cat Ba. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Very nice people. They let us check in early and showed us the house from top to bottom. The apartment was a very large space, good for families. A washing machine on the third floor and two bathrooms made it very convenient. There is a darling tiny Daschund who lives next door who came and visited us every day. We had a scooter and a bicycle at our disposal, which made going to the old town very quick. The apartment is in a local area with lots of food options. There is a nice little bar called “Trang Draft Beer” that is run by a local woman right next door. Don’t be scared about how it looks. The proprietor speaks great English and offered up stories and local dishes for us tourists not familiar with real Vietnamese food. The beer is cold, food delicious, and the prices cheap. We ate here twice during our trip for under $8 USD for our family of three with three beers each. On the other hand, you can walk 1-2 km into the tourist part of town by the water and pay much higher prices.
