Situated in Gardur, Lighthouse-Inn offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a sun terrace and sea views. All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. Lighthouse Inn is a fantastic spot in Gardur only 15mins drive from the airport. We decided not to hire a car and so a taxi cost us about 6000krone from the airport and the next day we bussed into Reykjavik using the public buses. We dined at the hotel restaurant for dinner and were so well looked after by Roberto. The next morning we were treated to a fantastic breakfast! We were hoping to spot the northern lights while out of the city but weren’t lucky this stay but would definitely return again as the Lighthouse Inn feels like such a treat! The lady on reception when we arrived was an absolute delight as well! You won’t be disappointed by a stay here. The facilities are top notch and a walk around the lighthouses is a must, it’s a peaceful and gorgeous place to be.

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. Väga sõbralik personal, kellega oli väga mõnus ka maailmas toimuvast rääkida ja nad teadsid täpselt, kus meie Eesti asub :) Ilusad suured ja puhtad toad imelise järvevaatega!!! Nii õhtul restoranis kui ka hommikusöögilauas olid väga maitsvad toidud. Veelkord - meie lemmik! ;)

Comfortable and clean room, quiet place, very comfortable bed and pillows, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, nice terrace for the rest

Aia, baari ja tasuta WiFi-ühendusega Landhotel asub Hellast 27 km ja Laugalandist 12 km kaugusel. Majutusasutuses on ööpäev läbi avatud vastuvõtt ja restoran. Jacuzzi outside is a plus. The breakfast was super complete. The receptionist guy was extremely friendly and we were called for the northern lights.

Hotell Hótel Jökulsárlón - Glacier Lagoon asub Höfnis, 11 km kaugusel Jokulsarloni liustikulaguunist. Kohapeal on spordikeskus, tasuta eraparkla, restoran ja baar. The outdoor jackuzi and sauna was incredible. Very nice breakfast. There were local delicacies, and they were delicious. Also the interior architecture was very nice. Our best location during our stay.

Fosshotel Mývatn asub Mývatni järve ääres. Mývatn Nature Baths on 6,8 km kaugusel. Hotellis levib tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja kohapeal on tasuta privaatne parkla. Great, modern and comfortable hotel. Room was big, super clean and comfy. Breakfast was great! View from the hotel (front side) is beautiful. This location is great for exploring the north part of Iceland, around Myvatn lake and part of east part of the island.

Hotell Basalt asub Iðunnarstaðiris, 43 km kaugusel Thingvelliri rahvuspargist. Kohapeal on restoran, tasuta eraparkla ja baar. Majutusasutuses on mullivann, kuumaveeallikavann ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Absolutely LOVED everything about this hotel. It was classy and modern, but didn't scream 'luxury' in your face. Super quiet, secluded and enwrapped in nature. Fantastic hot tub. Food, staff, vibe, music - everything was just perfect. We would come here to stay for a week to completely unwind. The hike to the waterfalls (ask the staff) was so worth it - so many waterfalls up the hill, one after another! Location is truly far from everything, but it wasn't a problem for us. We enjoyed the road 52 in itself.

Siglo Hotel by Keahotels in Siglufjörður has 4-star accommodation with a terrace and a bar. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge, as well as a sauna and a hot tub. We had a perfect stay at this hotel. The outdoor heated pool was a highlight, offering a relaxing experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making our visit truly enjoyable. The breakfast was perfect, with wide variety of food. We highly recommend this hotel.
