The hotel is in a pedestrian zone. Very comfy. The staff was excellent. They've offered a parking service, as I've arrived in the middle of the night.

I didn't have breakfast. The room was basic, but clean, and met my requirements. The shower was particularly good - decent flow and power, so much appreciated. Check in and check out was hassle-free - the check in and check out was at another hotel, just down the road, but no issues with that. I'd stay there again if visiting Vocklabruck in the future.

The property has a beautiful setting with a lovely courtyard for breakfast or drinks and the location 3 minutes walk from the charming old centre of Schorfling is excellent. The hostess Eva Knoll and staff are very pleasant and helpful and provide excellent information about all attractions in the magnificent Salzkammergut lakes area. The town of Schörfling itself is much less touristy than many other towns on the lakes making it a calm but convenient base for exploring the area while enjoying seeing life and traditional activities in a local community.
