This place is equipped to be a resort home, next to the river. The sauna and outdoor jacuzzi can be booked privately, and a pool operates during warmer seasons. Watzmann mountain, one of the highest peaks in the Bavarian alps, was the view from the apartment. We even had a Christmas tree with lights, and a fabulous modern kitchen. Peter Juhre the owner picked us up from the main train station at Berchtesgaden (just 5-8 minutes by car). We took the bus from the bus stop across the river to Salzburg centre in just 40 minutes. Berchtesgaden Old Town with Christmas market, a boat cruise at Konigsee and walk around/meals overlooking Hintersee and Konigsee are must-do's in winter. Peter and staff took great care of us throughout the stay, checking how we were settling in. Splendid location for an apartment. Thank you Peter and team!

The hotel is in a lovely location about a 10 minute walk from the town, the veiws from our room were amazing. Our room was first class, spotlessly clean and twice the size of a normal hotel room, the steam room shower and jacuzzi bath were a big bonus. The owner was friendly and helpful and I would have no hesitation in reccomending this hotel to anyone staying in Berchtesgaden.
