Well.. a nice surprise. A few years ago, a colleague stayed a few times and did not rate the place. Not sure if it's changed ownership, but it's a beautiful, quirky building, very nicely restored in a mid century kind of way. I was in a room in the 700s which are on the hillside through a James Bond villain tunnel and lift. Nicely appointed room, well done bathroom all super clean. And an actual minibar. With things in it. Proper cups for coffee, not paper. A former colleague joined for dinner in the Cafe, with well presented food and good service, the downstairs bar is really a hidden gem too. All in all, way exceeded my expectations and thoroughly recommend it.

Along the E45 and 6 km from the city centre is the Scandic Kolding Hotel. The Legoland Theme Park and Billund Airport are only 35 km away.

It's right next to the main Highway & easy access, so tgat was great The reception staff were so nice & plenty of room to park, free too.. We didn't eat in as we went to meet friends. Breakfast was very well appointed

Check-in, lobby, and restaurant are nice. The beds are nice-ish (actually, for Scandinavia, they're decent). Everything worked and was kept very clean. Sheets and towels were fresh and pleasant.

We enjoyed the stay in this cozy and modern hotel very much. The atmosphere was sooo nice. We felt in love with the lobby with a huge relaxing zone. We appreciated a self service coffee & tea bar in the lobby. The gym is very good equipped. The breakfast was wonderful - a lot of choices of local products. The staff was very nice and helpful.

This Middelfart hotel, located 800 metres from the water, offers nice views of Little Belt and rooms in different categories - all with a flat-screen TV.

The best we have ever got on any of our trips, and there has been a few! My wife and I are looking forward to next opportunity to another stay.

The hotel looks like from a fairytale. We were back to 19 century. Room was clean big, stylish. Breakfast was testy. The place is very nice. I wish we will back some days.
