It is a very comfortable place, we had a well equipped room with a fantastic bathtub included surrounded with a calm garden with private sitting area. The owner is super friendly attentive, personally served the delicious breakfast, and assisted us not only with proposal but even the reservation for dinner in a nearby restaurant with a very nice food. The setting was absolutely gorgeous- very peaceful and 5 minutes drive from St Paul de Vence. I was attending a party for the weekend so I did not hire a car but I would say it is essential to have a car unless you are just here for the weekend and don’t plan going anywhere else. We had two amazing formal dinners and casual lunches - the food was delicious and service excellent.

The 4-star Hotel Alain Llorca is located in the Provence hillside 7 km from the coast. Air-conditioned guest rooms each have a private balcony or a private garden, LCD TV and free WiFi.

The location of the hotel and the property itself exceeded all our expectations. You get a 5 star service. Beautiful and spacious interiors and very attentive staff. Valet parking is very convenient. The Hotel is situated perfectly for both beach destinations and small mountain villages for cozy romantic dinners. I will definitely come back there again! :)

The hotel was perfectly situated and the way all the rooms overlooked the lovely pool area made it visually very attractive. The rooms were really pretty and were always a pleasure to return to. The staff was really helpful, friendly and efficient. Next time we will reserve a suite as, for five nights with lots of luggage as we were attending a wedding, the room got a little cluttered. it was useful having an iron and ironing board just off reception.

Chateau Le Cagnard was one of the most memorable accommodation I’ve ever stayed in - it is set in a 13th century castle, many of the rooms used to be guards’ quarters. Special thank you to Nicolas for making us feel so welcome in the beautiful Tusnelda room. This is the kind of special old world luxury that you can rarely find nowadays, with little details through the chateau halls that makes it feel so authentic and alive.
