The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The club lounge was comfortable and had an endless supply of drinks and snacks. We enjoyed the spacious room, which was beautifully furnished, with a lovely big bath tub and shower. The children really enjoyed the swimming pool and we all looked forward to our buffet breakfast each day. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay a wonderful experience.

    Building is really interesting & has lots of character, location is overlooking lake & very tranquil. Room was done to very high standard, facilities were really lovely, bed linen & towels were really high quality & luxury. Lots of nice biscuits, tea, coffee, water, etc

    Room was lovely Setting pleasant Food very nice but mainly it just had a country vibe just outside London and the view on the lake was spectacular Also liked the funky fittings in the room

    Very disappointed room very cold no heating and also very smelly like from the toilet no window to look out . Requested some heating none available Heating not working Would not recommend this to anyone Couldn’t stay too cold very let down The advertisement is not correct It’s not a boutique hotel Very very bad experience

    Love this property, so unique. Bedrooms are modern and wonderfully designed, the building itself is so full of character and the view from Outside over the lake is beautiful. The Christmas decorations make it a wonderful place to take family or friends. The bar is well stocked with a great amount of choice and the meals chosen were very nice. The staff were all friendly polite and friendly. The new owners are doing a great job.

    Gorgeous views of the lake, rooms were small but nice and cosy. Food- starters were nice as was breakfast however main meals could have been better. But staff were lovely.
