Great little hotel in the heart of Barga. Wonderful hosts, molto carina. Surprisingly quiet for being in the heart of things.

Dating back to 1924, the impressive Villa Moorings is 700 metres from Barga Cathedral. It features a 3000 m² garden with swimming pool, sun terrace and gazebos.

This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. The villa is exquisitely furnished and very well maintained. The staff were most helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was an absolute treat. The location is great, as Barga (old town) is within easy walking distance. I would definitely stay here again if I were in the region. June would be a better month in order to be able to enjoy the pool.

What a great find this place was. Our host was delightful. The room was large and clean. The breakfast was great, and I can't fault anything.

We got an upgrade into a hugh villa with private garden and stunning view over the valley, fully equipped with kitchenware and a nespresso coffee machine. The place is on top of a hill, surrounded by park, perfect for relaxing 20 minutes from the city of Lucca. The decor of the villas is superb. Francesco was extremely friendly and helpful, notwithstanding the fact we arrived quite late and made him wait for us.

Villa Volpi has a peaceful hilltop location and a swimming pool with sun terrace offering panoramic views across the Tuscan countryside. The town of Lucca is a 15-minute drive away.

We loved the pool, the restaurant and the building is beautiful. Marco treated us with extra care.

The host was very nice and friendly. Location is good (less than 10minutes walk from the city centar). Appartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and has everthing you need on a vacation. Plus, the pool and parking are available.

Located around 4 kilometres outside of pretty medieval Lucca, Hotel Hambros is an 18th-century villa surrounded by parkland.

The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was lovely and the restaurant was fabulous.

Located 2 km from Pietrasanta Train Station, the family-run B&B Pieve Degli Artisti features free Wi-Fi throughout and an outdoor pool. Guests can relax in the garden.

Was our first but certainly not our last visit to Pive Degli Artitisti. The room, house, swimmingpool where fantastic. But we are going to miss the most are the breakfast and the warm welcome we had from the staff they where outstanding!
