Located right next to Praia Verde, at an easily 5min walk, this hotel is a great choice for people looking for a calm and relaxing holidays. The pool area is quite reclusive, cosy, and relaxing. The hotel restaurant is amazing, and the staff is extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast has a huge variety of options, independently of your food regime. Definitely, a must go!

We had a wonderful stay at the guesthouse. Andy, Tamsin and Sangita run the place great. We had no problem what so ever. The guesthouse is built and decorated with a lot of love. The breakfast was fantastic and our extra wishes were noted down and automatically repeated the following day. We got great local advise for restaurants and activities from both Andy and tamsin. All in all a wonderful experience. I hope to be back! Can highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a memorable and stress free time in Favor a.

The atmosphere of the guest house is very cozy! You can feel that owner puts her heart in the place. The rooms are big and clean and the place is decorated with a beautiful art made by the owner, which you can also buy! The bathroom is clean and spacious and you’ll get plenty of towels. I also loved the rooftop terrace with an amazing view over the river and town. There is a small kitchenette at the first floor with an espresso machine, tea kettle and fridge. Everything is super close, especially the bus station is a minute away! You can find a jar at the reception for contributions to feed the stray cats and dogs, which I found really sweet. 100% recommend! I will definitely stay again if I am back to Tavira.

The staff is incredibly nice. The rooms and the whole building are exceptional. The food, although not cheap, was excellent. The location is right in the center of Tavira which is a city that remains faithful to its origins.

This refurbished guesthouse has a lush garden with an outdoor pool. Bike rentals are available. Free WiFi is available in public areas.

Beautifully renovated in an excellent location, can walk anywhere in 5 mins, lovely fresh breakfast on the terrace every morning and all the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when next in Tavira.

Casa do Rio is ideally situated in a scenic location along the river within short walking distance to the town center. The guesthouse is beautifully curated and exactly as described. Sebastiao is an excellent host and we very much enjoyed are stay here.
