The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. We loved everything about our stay! We were blown away by the supply of items for guests to use during their stay. From board games/dvds, to beach gear, bicycles, bbqs, coolers etc. we had a fantastic time with more than we could ever need. We could walk to 4 mile beach in less than 1 minute, and we were surrounded by countless restaurants/cafes/shops on the other side.

Set on over 140 acres of native forest and boasting a private beach, Thala Beach Nature Reserve is an Eco-friendly wildlife retreat. Wow! I read some negative views and shortened my stay based upon they. I regret that. This was such a beautiful place. Waking up in the morning to the sounds of tropical birds was so relaxing. The staff were over the top with their hospitality. I cannot recommend this place more. Do not read the negative reviews. They are simply inaccurate. One was about walking around at night which we enjoyed as it is so beautiful however the staff is always circling in a cart to drive guests around if they do not want to walk.

This was the perfect llocation for bars and restaurants and right beside 4 mile beach. Ken on reception was so friendly and helpful with maps and suggestions for our day trips. Lots of little extras like filtered water, ice, books, bar b q and even umbrellas for guests use. A really enjoyable stay.

Paradise Links Resort Port Douglas, is ideally located to explore the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. Guests enjoy 2 lagoon-style swimming pools, a tennis court and free WiFi. Great place - location was great and staff super welcoming.

Coral Beach Lodge & Backpackers is located 500 metres from 4-Mile Beach. The lodge offers free WiFi and air-conditioned rooms, featuring tropical gardens and an outdoor swimming pool. Host was super kind and available, had a blast there! Pools are brilliant!

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Four Mile Beach, The Newport on Macrossan - Adults Only features a solar-heated pool, a sunny terrace and barbecue facilities. Great location and fantastic, well equipped apartment.

The Suite was very clean, the bed very confortable and cozy. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I recommend!
