It was really a nice experience, but it was also very comfortable and quiet. Your host, Sven, is the best! He explained everything we needed to know and prepared us a fantastic breakfast. The location is good to visit Ghent, and in general Ghent is a good place to stay if you want to visit most of Belgium.

Cleythil is located outside Maldegem, a 20-minute drive from historic Bruges and 30 minutes' drive from Ghent and the North Sea beach. The garden offers views of the Drongengoed forests and fields. Our stay at this hotel was perfect from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming. The room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, with high-quality amenities. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options. Highly recommended.

Staff are kind and friendly and the house is a beauty inside . Beautifull rooms with comfrort beds ,clean bathroom and the location is really really close to city center and lots of store near the area. Definitely a recommendation to anyone visiting Ghent from my side .
