Hotel Spalentor is located opposite the Botanic Gardens, a 5-minute walk from the Old Town of Basel and the University, and offers free bicycles, free WiFi, a fitness area and a quiet garden with a... Everything was ok. The breakfast was very tasty, the room was big and very clean and the location was perfect, close to the city centrum.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. Location was perfect for enjoying Fasnacht!

Hostel Basel Backpack sídlí ve zrekonstruované historické továrně, pouhých 10 minut od hlavního vlakového nádraží v Basileji. The facility was perfect (to me). The decor was exceptional, the space had a lot of charm, the neighbourhood was quite unique, and easily accessible from the main station whether you're arriving on foot or on public transit. As a bonus, as part of the stay I received a card which provided access to complimentary use of public transit within Basel. Everything was clean, organized, important information clearly provided by staff and well signed where appropriate. Additionally, they were happy to offer suggestions or recommendations about how to fill your time while in town - great ambassadors for Basel.

Add to this an interesting architecture and an attentive staff. We are frequent visitors to Basel and our future choice for hotel in Basel will be Hotel Victoria.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Excellent location. The staff was very helpful and kind. I recommend the place. The room was clean and equipped with everything I needed.

Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free. Large and very clean room with many facilities. Very close the central station and trams. Kind staff

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. Maintaining an atmosphere of the good-old-day hotel. I was welcomed by a live piano music at the hotel entrance. Staff are very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. It is so close to the central station.

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. What was not to like. Excellent location on the banks of the Rhein. Great communication beforehand, which made getting to the hotel to from the airport very easy. Staff were all super friendly and couldn't help enough with any issues or questions. Room clean, tidy, comfortable and more than adequate. Breakfast to die for 😍 everything from cereals, fruits, juices, breads, cold meats, cheeses, sausages, hummus, salad, eggs (fantastic egg scrambling machine) and even make your own waffles. Basel was a beautiful city. Interesting to see, everyone very friendly. Eating out was great too. Would thoroughly recommend a trip to Basel and definitely stay at the Krafft Basel Hotel. You will not be disappointed.
