The Basel SBB Train Station is 850 metres away. The room was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. The bed was so comfy and cozy The staff were very helpful and gave great restaurant suggestions. Breakfast at the hotel was very nice. The hotel is in an ideal location, a quick walk to the train station and a stones throw away from the old city.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available.

All rooms have a cable TV, a large work desk and a free minibar with soft drinks and beer. I liked everything about this hotel. Breakfast was great with lots of thing to choose from. The room was spacious and clean. At night there was no noise from the outside. The curtains did the job - the room was completely dark at night. The staff was extra nice and accomodating. The hotel is close to the tram line that takes you right to the main train station and the centre of the old town.

The accommodation enjoys a central and very quiet location close to the university and the cantonal hospital. The hotel has a small garden and free WLAN. The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet area. The building is beautiful, the room was much larger than expected, and the facilities were quite new. There is also a small garden inside the hotel. Among all the places my friend and I stayed during our week-long trip in Switzerland, this was the one we were most satisfied with and considered to have the best value for money.
