The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. Very good value for money, near train station, restaurants and the family room was really huge and plus the jacuzzi was really great. Our family had fun. The food was also really good.

The Wettstein hotel is located in a central residential quarter of Basel, 200 metres from the Rhine river, and offers you garage parking, free Wi-Fi and a free internet station. They really make everything comfortable for guests. Everything you expect to be in place is in place.

The Basel Backpack is housed in a renovated historic factory, only 10 minutes from Basel’s main train station. The Basel Mobility Ticket (free public transport) is included in the rates. I recently stayed at Basel Backpack Hostel, and overall, it was a great experience. The hostel is well-located, with easy access to public transport and the city center. The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shared areas, including the kitchen and lounge, were well-maintained and provided a nice space to relax. One of the highlights was the free Basel Card, which made getting around the city much easier. The Wi-Fi connection was also reliable and fast, which was a big plus. The atmosphere was relatively quiet, which might not suit those looking for a more social experience. However, if you're looking for an affordable and convenient place to stay in Basel, Basel Backpack is a solid choice. Would recommend for budget travelers!

The Hotel Victoria offers traditional hospitality and modern hotel comforts in the centre of Basel next to the main train station (SBB). I had one of the corner rooms, 206. Was really spacious and comfortable. Breakfast I rated as good. Love the fresh orange juice, the quality of the bread and pastries. As a vegetarian I missed some options, to replace the cold cuts and some fresh vegetables would have been nice.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Great Hotel. Very helpful staff. Free coffee and tea.

Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free. Large and very clean room with many facilities. Very close the central station and trams. Kind staff

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! We appreciate all the advice from the receptionist and his generous and kind gesture of allowing us to check in 1 hour earlier. It is very much appreciated! We are very grateful! Such a customer-oriented approach, highlighted by the comfortable beds, soft bathrobes with slippers in the room, the wonderful view from the window, festive lanterns on the balcony railings, a view of the spectacular fireworks on New Year's Eve, an extremely delicious breakfast and friendly polite ladies in the restaurant every early morning- all of them made our stay in Hotel truly unforgettable. Euler Basel Hotel deserves 20 stars!

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. Enjoyed staying here, it was very practical having the tramway direct to where I was going during my stay.
