Newly built in 2014, The Passage in Basel is a centrally located design hotel featuring a sauna, a fitness centre, free WiFi access and air-conditioned rooms. Its location is good, there’s a paid parking in front of the hotel, and in 5 minutes there’s a bus/tram stop which was complementary. Not sure it was given by the hotel or by the government though. The room was spacious, light, well decorated and clean. The soap, shampoo and cream were from Loccitane. We were given the patio rooms which was very quiet.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. It was a perfect place to sleep after a long trip. Everything was very clean, good location and nice people. We arrived late around 23pm but the check in was easy.

Hotel Wettstein nalazi se je u stambenoj četvrti u centru Bazela, na 200 metara od reke Rajne. U ponudi ima parking u garaži, besplatan bežični internet i besplatan internet terminal. Lovely hotel with very helpful and friendly stuff. The location is great, almost next to bus/tram stop. Handy free Basel card - for free public transport and discounts for some museums. I had a room with balcony, so spent my evening there with a nice view.

Hostel Basel Backpack smešten je u renoviranoj starinskoj fabrici, na samo 10 minuta od Glavne železničke stanice u Bazelu. U cenu smeštaja uračunata je karta za javni prevoz (Basel Mobility Ticket). Personnel was so nice and kind! Also good location!

Hotel Victoria je tradicionalno gostoljubiv, udoban i moderno opremljen hotel smešten u centru Bazela, pored Glavne železničke stanice (SBB). Staff was really helpfull in scheduling dinner fondue for us at night.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Hotel has fantastic location. It is near old town. We had a room with very nice view. It was our very first time in Basel, and in Switzerland we are in love with this city. Staff from hotel was very helpful and kind. Room was very clean. I recommend you to take breakfast because it’s really delicious. As tourists you get tourists card so you can explore whole city and get discounts on all attractions. Also public transport is foc, so it makes your stay more interesting. Receptionist are very kind and they are also suggesting what you can visit and where you can go. Our stay in hotel was fantastic so we are coming back again!

The family-run GAIA Hotel Basel can be found right across from Basel Main Train Station, only a 10-minute walk from the historic city centre. The location the design the toilet in the lobby are beautiful functional rooms and most of all wonderful staff and friendly at breakfast (especially Alma). Also food was great !

Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free. It was at a really good location and the room was perfect

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. Grate location! Clean and comfortable
