Built in the 1890s, this historic hotel was one of the first hotels in Lauterbrunnen. The family-run Hotel Staubbach offers panoramic views of the Staubbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. It is located 600 metres from the Lauterbrunnen station and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. We loved our stay here. Perfect location easy walking distance from the train station. The view was just incredible! We were in a frontal falls view room #9. It was perfect. Waking up to the view of the falls and alps is something I will never forget. And drinking champagne on the balcony at night. Everything was spotless, room and bathroom nice size. Plenty of room for our luggage. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of variety. And the dining room has views of the falls and mountains. The staff here were incredibly kind and helpful! Would just bend over backwards to make you happy. Especially the young woman at reception. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name.

It’s clean, nice, the lake view is a masterpiece straight from the God! Loved it a lot and def. Recommend! Free WiFi access is provided in public areas. Absolutely incredible location, as close as you can be to staying in a castle. Friendly staff that were happy to accommodate our late arrival and early departure. Really clean facilities.

The city of Bern is just over an hour away by car. Personnel were extremely welcoming and professional throughout the stay. Breakfast and Dinner were much appreciated! Dinner carte aligned with fine dining! Afternoon cake is a great idea to welcome back guests after their daily outing! Superior room cleanliness perfect.

Not far from the station and great view from the room balcony. Cosy room, friendly staff and the 4 course dinner was excellent treat after full-day winter activities.
