Gorgeous old mansion from an era in the 1790s. Room was perfect. Lofted bedroom for the kids. Location was fabulous, close walk to the city centre and the markets which were an experience. Very close to the ferries to the island if you can figure them out. Staff were helpful and 2pm checkout was a dream

The hotel is situated on a gorgeous island just a short boat ride from Xiamen. We were given a fantastic room that far exceeded our expectations and really made our stay on Guyangyu special. The reception staff took care to meet us from the boat and communicated via WeChat very well, they even recommended an excellent restaurant. We will return.

The hostel has great location, right in the middle of an old town (touristy area). The design of the hostel and each room is unique and nice. You feel like entering into the olden day. Room is nicely decorated too with fluffy bedding etc. It comes with garden and tea drinking place that make you feel zen. The staff is exceptionally helpful with our luggages, queries etc. You will be provided welcome snacks and tea too. Pretty much like every bit of it. Worth the value you paid for. (Lots of eatery around the hostel too, check them out).

We like the design of the room wall and the hotel LED flooring and wall. Breakfast is great for us because of the varieties of food selection. We were greeted and hotel walkaround by GM Ms Spring Hang and warm hospitality provided by Director Of Operation Mr Bryan Long. Thanks to them!

The room was spacious and designed with good taste. Tip top clean. It was a great pleasure to stay there. Only a few steps to a small romantic beach my children loved. The owner and his whole family are very kind and helpful. They offered raincoats for a rainy day, picked us from and sent us to the airport and when the flight was cancelled to the airport and harbor twice! They do everything to make sure that your stay is great. And it was!
