The hotel maintains the town´s “stopped in time” vibe which is much appreciated when you’re looking for a weekend getaway to the countryside. The staff is really nice and the hotel's manager told us everything about what to see in town given the short amount of time we had – she even provided us with a map so we could give ourselves a tour.

At the moment the main road in Villa de Leyva is closed and google maps gives you a lengthy detour as we found out. Make sure before your stay you get clear instructions for the short cut! The location of the hotel is perfect for the attractions nearby. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and the showers are very good. The gardens are stunning too. The breakfasts were delicious and you eat outside on a beautiful patio.

Quiet, reserved and ideal place to relax and stay away from noisy surroundings. If you do not have a car you need to plan your arrival and departures previously because it can be a little bit tricky

Very close to downtown , excellent staff ( welcome with coffee or tea), trying to make sure everything is ok and the customer is happy, great breakfast ( finally cereals with yoghurt 👍), sauna and steam bath ( which I didn’t used, went to the fsbulous public thermales instead, recommended by the hotel , so thank you for everything!! On top they gave me a free upgrade. Amazing!

Hotel Bahía Olivo Boutique & Spa boasts a spa and gym facilities, plus comfortable rooms only 300 metres from Villa de Leyva's town centre. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Bohio Oliva. It's a quaint, perfectly located property that is unique and colorful. The staff was very warm, friendly, and inviting. Everything was to our satisfaction. The room was a considerable size with comfortable amenities. We enjoyed two nights at this property and always felt at home. The managers take great care and ensure a positive stay. The breakfast included was delicious and enough to leave you feeling satisfied. Overall, I can say it was an enjoyable stay. Make sure you say hello to Milo the dog who owns the property :-)
