Set on a riverbank and surrounded by jungle, Tortuga Lodge offers an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi and a restaurant serving fusion cuisine with Caribbean flavours. All rooms have river views. Great location, spacious room, beautiful garden full of animals (sloth, monkeys, iguanas). Food is very good (all fresh), Staff is super friendly, with a special mention for all the guides (Juan, Jayjay, Miguel). Fantastic 3 days

Set in attractive tropical gardens, Physis Caribbean Bed & Breakfast offers bright accommodation. Our room with the outdoor shower was so clean and calm and the surroundings were incredibly peaceful. Juliet is a fantastic host and the breakfast was amazing. Everything was 10/10 and we hope to return some day.

Situated 150 metres from Playa Cocles Beach, Caribe Town Bungalows offers tropical gardens and a pool with a swim-up bar. Puerto Viejo town is just 3 km away. We stayed at Caribe Town for three days, but we could stay for weeks in this little oasis. You can feel the love and passion of the owners who created this paradise. With a very warm and extensive welcome our stay started, and after that, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast everyday, as well as the swimming pool and some tasty cocktails. In the morning it really felt like we were in the middle of the jungle, waking up with the sounds of howling monkeys, birds and frogs. There’s a lot of animals to see in the garden. Our bungalow was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. There’s also multiple good restaurants at walking distance. We will definitely come back!

The room was exactly as in the picture, comfy beds and A/C worked perfect. It is located next to many cafes, restaurants and the beach is accross the street. The pool was clean and staff super friendly. They also have a parking in the back which was great.
