We had a beautiful room with a small roof terrace and really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was very good and the staff was lovely. The location allowed us to do everything by foot.

All rooms have a wonderful view of the city or the greenery. Great location, very nice and helpful receptionists. Check-in and check-out were very fast and smooth. Breakfast was okay, just remember you need to leave the breakfast room till 10am. Good parking space next to the hotel. Beautiful view from the room!

The hotel Romania in Karlovy Vary can be found in the centre of the spa and commercial district, right at the Teplá River and 550 metres from the Mill Colonnade. It offers large, en-suite rooms with free WiFi, and a restaurant serving Czech and international cuisine. A stair lift for disabled guest is available as well. Conveniently located close to train and bus stations as well to the main spa avenue. Staff is helpful and forthcoming but not servile. Not a Russian ownership.

Selected French and Moravian wines and champagnes offered to complement the dining treats. It was a hidden gem in Karlovy Vary! The hotel is far from downtown, but still 10 minutes by walk to the main shopping street. Only 5 mins by walk to Cafe Pupp. My room is right besides the river, very quiet and enjoy the sounds of forest, even the restaurant is right below my room. The hostess doesn't speak much English, but the checkin process was simple, not a big deal. Room is equipped with a small hallway and changing room, and all the appliances are available in the bathroom. Breakfast was good, I could see many options. I would try the restaurant next I'm there. It seems nice and luxurious one. Totally would go again!

This is by far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at.
