Tampere Maja is a guesthouse founded by Tartu and Tampere. It is a small cosy house with some 7 rooms. It is very close to the centre but located in a quiet street. There is a gallery on the ground floor. The rooms are simple but clean and have everything one needs. Wifi works well. There is also a kitchen with a kettle and a fridge (and more, but I did not need a kitchen, so I did not check). Breakfast is served from 8 am, it is rather simple but fine. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at the Tampere Maja and would not hesitate to stay there again if back to Tartu.

The Antonius is a luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of the old town of Tartu, directly opposite the main building of Tartu university. Tartu Town hall is 170 metres away. The hotel was very child friendly.

The small and comfortable Hansa Hotel is only a few minutes away from the centre of Tartu, close to the shopping centres and the Emajögi River. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Great place with a unique interior. The people running the hotel and restaurant are really nice! Good atmosphere, quiet rooms.
